"Lock the doors and close the blinds -- we're going for a ride..."

as i type this i am on mt avenel, one of the peaks of the appalachian mountains in bleackdon maryland, a few miles off the potomac river from Frederick.  it was an amazing climb and the crisp, fresh air is wonderful. all the time i was listening to mp3s on my iPhone (the new white stripes album is AWESOME!) and using it as a pedometer to check my speed and distance and also be used as an altimeter.

the EDGE serve from up here is crystal clear, as is the view. i didnt even think of doing this until i actually got my iPhone and realized that there are so many more possibilities to realize than i ever did before.  i hardly even know what im going to do next!
