I have to say... sometimes I complain about where I live regarding the high cost of living, the impossible traffic, and the snootiness of some. But when you can spontaneously decide to drive a few miles to Rossyln, walk across a bridge on the Potomac to Georgetown, keep walking through Foggy Bottom to the White House, and end up just feet away from the Washington Monument on a Sunday before taking the Metro back to the car -- it simply means you're still in a great place to live.
