Okay. This is really getting on my nerves. I just found the following while gleaning Drudge Report. Take a look:
County Proclaims: Howard Stern is Against the Law FLEETWOOD, NV (Reuters) - Surwit County officials have just one thing to say to radio "shock-jock" Howard Stern and his fans: You're not welcome here. This was made clear by County Executive Michael Sorce, who officially put a law on the books yesterday banning the broadcast of Stern's radio show throughout the county. The prohibition, however has a twist: those who listen to the show in public may also be fined up to fifty US dollars for each offense. |

Trying to control the content on the radio is one thing -- but penalizing people for listening in public? What will be next -- Book burnings? We're living in a scary time in this country...
I really hope this is overturned. And fast.
