I'll write something substantial tonight. In the meantime, a question of logistics:

What's the ettiquette of this "Friends" list on mindsay? If I think someone is interesting enough to show up on my page, do I just add him/her? Dare I ask permission from the person in question?

And what happens if there is no reciprocity? What if my offer of "friend"ship remains unrequited? How much of a loser would I look like then?

And if I'm lucky enough for you to consider me your friend, does it mean I'm obligated to send you a card or make a souffle for your birthday?
