"Lock the doors and close the blinds -- we're going for a ride..."

Due to the recent events and changes in attitudes on Mindsay, many people have decided to make some changes regarding access to their blogs. And I am joining them.

So -- from this point forward, my blog is limited to "fiends only."

This, of course, is not to slam anyone who is not a fiend. By definition, you're probably a well-adjusted, normal person with a balanced outlook on life. And, since I am limited to enforcing the "fiends only" policy by the honor system, chances are you'll continue to read my blog. (Then again -- with Mindsay 3.0 in the works -- maybe they'll have this as a new feature? Only time will tell...)

I accept many kinds of fiends. The Artist Currently known as Prince sings of "a girl named Nikki; I guess you can say she was a sex fiend" -- and thus, she can read my blog. Merrian-Webster's dictionary uses the term "heroin fiend" in its definition of the word; you're welcome to peruse as long as you don't drool all over the carpet. A fiend can be a villan or a demon -- which allows folks like Bill O'Reilly to view my online thoughts. And those of you avid fans of -- well, anything, you're fiends in my book.

I'm sorry to have to place this restriction; I hope we evolve into a community where we can all be fiends.
