"Lock the doors and close the blinds -- we're going for a ride..."

Mindsay seems to work on trends. First someone has a quiz about "which Tim Burton character are you." Then everyone has to post the same quiz. Or people post a quiz which is... well, a quiz. about oneself. And then everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

I am as guilty as everyone else here.

Case in point: Today, jimschweizer decided to post a picture of himself and this foxy looking chick -- a picture taken back in 1978 when Jim was in high school. It was fun seeing Jim with the 70s thing going on.

Thus, I copy.

Ladies and gentlemen: Shiny -- the picture: taken in 1978!


This one is of myself (right side) playing my brother, Rob in a game called "Zim Zam" in our backyard. Rob was already 9 at the time -- compared to my six years -- and could easily whip my butt.

Notice the era-appropriate attire both of us are wearing -- checkered slacks (most likely Sears Toughskins), as well as matching shirts from my Dad's latest business trip. You can kind of make out the design on the shirt a bit -- chitownfreak25 will likely recognize and get a kick out of it :-)

I didn't have very many pictures from 1978, so I decided to include this one as well -- from late 1977.
(That's why I look so much younger.)
